Hua Lampong Station was the central train station for the the city of Bangkok until recently when the city opened a new facility Bang Sue Grand Station. As with all public transportation, Hua Lampong served a cross-section of the people of Thailand — from low to middle income riders — offering affordable, convenient transportation to many parts of Thailand. These transportation hubs provide a rich source of inspiration for sketching, painting, and studying how the working poor manage.
