Art & Activism: The Mohinga Revolution

See this content in the original post

The first anniversary of the coup in Burma is being recognized by events around the world. Here in Bangkok, one of the venues was a show of photos, videos, and music by Burmese democracy activists at the WTF Gallery and Bar. This cozy little galley space featured a bar downstairs and exhibition space on the second and third floor. The WTF has all the right vibes. The exhibition space has nice lighting and is the perfect size for new creaters to display their work in an intimate setting. And the bar downstairs makes it perfect for spot to engage in conversation. The co-owner of WTF, Christopher Wise, is a successful photographer whose own work resume is similar to mine. The small alleyway in front of the gallery is also a nice gathering spot to enjoy a brew and hang out with other kindred souls. Hope to revisit soon.
